Dell KACE today announced it was named as a "strong performer" in the May 2012 report: "The Forrester Wave™: Enterprise Client Management Suites Q2 2012." The report recognized Dell KACE as, "the only fully appliance-based solution in the Wave evaluation, and customers report quick ramp-up and excellent results in smaller environments." Forrester evaluated Dell KACE on 62 separate key criteria for hybrid physical, virtual and mobile client management needs.

The report highlights the excellent OS management, OS migration, patch and ad hoc reporting capabilities of Dell KACE solutions. Dell KACE also received recognition for being easy to implement and delivers functionality and modules from the appliances that communicate with each other and share a common web interface. Dell has positioned itself very well for small to midsize markets with the KACE product line because small and medium enterprises often lack the resources and skills needed to deploy and manage a comprehensive or complex solution and are less likely to need advanced features.

Forrester evaluated vendor strengths and weaknesses, vendor responses, demonstrations and strategic presentations. Customer references also played a key role in determining their ROI from vendor's solution. The criteria focused on current offerings, strategy and market presence.
