Digital Telecommunications Infrastructure Fund reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months quarter ended June 30, 2018. The company clarified the change in the net increase in net assets from operations for three-month period ended June 30, 2018, which increases in excess of 20%, compared to that of the same period in 2017. The Fund has the net increase in net assets from operations for three-month period ended June 30, 2018 amounted to THB 2,086.82 million, compared to THB 1,345.22 million for the same period in 2017, or an increase of THB 741.60 million (55.13%). An increase in net investment income stems mainly from the increase in revenue resulting from the additional investment No. 2 on November 28, 2017 and additional investment No.3 on May 17, 2018, respectively, according to the resolutions of the unitholders' meeting of Digital Telecommunications Infrastructure Fund No.1/2017 held on November 23, 2017. In addition, in second quarter 2018 the Fund has realised the revenue from the additional investment No. 3 for 45 days, starting from May 17, 2018 to June 30, 2018. Net profit was THB 2,086,823,000 compared to THB 1,345,222,000 a year ago. EPS was THB 0.2165 compared to THB 0.1396 a year ago. The number of total units has increased from 5,808,000,000 units in second quarter of 2017 to 9,637,943,054 units in second quarter of 2018 as a result of an increase in the Fund's registered capital leading to a decrease in earning per unit from THB 1.4154 per unit for the six-month period ended June 30, 2017 to THB 0.0696 per unit for the six-month period ended June 30, 2018. However, such earning per unit will keep increasing once the Fund continues to realise the Fund's net income which adds up in each operating period. Net profit was THB 4,809,200 compared to THB 8,220,716,000 a year ago. EPS was THB 0.499 compared to THB 0.853 a year ago.
