Effective immediately, Brenda Langenfeld and Tryg Sarsland, both of Nuveen Asset Management, have been added as co-portfolio managers of DRA. Complete information on the portfolio management transition is outlined in the chart below.

Brenda A. Langenfeld, CFA, is a portfolio manager for the Preferred Securities Strategy and related institutional portfolios. She joined the Preferred Securities Sector Team in 2011. She is also a co-manager for the Real Asset Income Strategy, which invests in income-generating debt and equity securities from both the real estate and infrastructure segments, since 2015. Brenda started working in the financial services industry in 2004 when she joined the firm. Prior to her portfolio management roles, she was a member of the High-Grade Credit Sector Team, responsible for trading corporate bonds. Previously, she was a member of the Securitized Debt Sector Team, trading mortgage-backed securities, asset backed securities and commercial mortgage-backed securities. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison, Brenda received a B.B.A. in finance and international business. She also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute.

Tryg T. Sarsland is a co-portfolio manager for the Global Infrastructure Strategy, which invests in listed infrastructure companies from around the world. He joined the Global Infrastructure Team in 2011. Tryg is also a co-manager for the Real Asset Income Strategy, which invests in income-generating debt and equity securities from both the real estate and infrastructure segments, since 2015. In addition, he is a senior research analyst for the Global Infrastructure Team, specializing in the MLP and pipeline industries. He began working in the financial services industry in 2000 and joined the firm in 2011. In his prior position as vice president and director of project finance at National Wind LLC, Tryg spearheaded the development, procurement and investment of funds for wind energy projects. Previously, he was a vice president with Meridian Companies LLC, where he specialized in developing financing strategies, structures and principal investments within the renewable energy, real estate and infrastructure sectors. Tryg also worked as a vice president at Standard Chartered Bank, structuring and syndicating the debt side of energy, chemicals and metals/mining projects in emerging markets. Tryg received a B.A. from St. John’s University and an M.B.A. from St. Cloud State University.
