In celebration of International Rollercoaster Day, Dubai Parks and Resorts, the region's largest theme park destination, has revealed some of the most hilarious reactions to its fastest and scariest rollercoaster, 'Madagascar Mad Pursuit', located at DreamWorks, at MOTIONGATE™ Dubai.

With its exhilarating, high speed dips and dives in the dark, it is virtually impossible to keep a straight face on this 95mph rocket of a ride. From fearful to funny and from anticipation to exhilaration; all human emotions are on display as people experience the fastest roller coaster in the destination. With the hysterically obsessive animal control officer Captain DuBois, who is in hot pursuit of the Zoosters, guests will climb aboard an out-of-control circus train to evade capture. The experience begins at the backstage of the circus where the performers are preparing for their show, featuring Madagascar's characters Alex, Marty, Gloria and Melman. The fast-paced roller coaster takes riders through a chaotic adventure with a track full of incredibly fun twists and turns.

Am I sure I want to do this?

The movie wasn't scary!

Man: This is the best thing I've ever been on, take me again!

Woman: Am I seriously on the same ride as the guy next to me?

If I close my eyes maybe it will be over quicker!

Are grown-ups supposed to get this scared?

The DreamWorks Animation Zone, where the Madagascar Mad Pursuit ride is located, is a unique indoor-world of hysterical characters and heartwarming stories with four uniquely themed lands inspired by the blockbuster animated hits Kung Fu Panda, How to Train Your Dragon, Madagascar and Shrek. Re-creating each film in their own uniquely themed 'lands', guests are welcomed by a majestic and multi-sensory fountain with sculptures of all the DreamWorks characters coming to life.

The international Rollercoaster day is celebrated annually on 16 of August, as it is believed that it is the date that marks the very first patent for a rollercoaster ride, which was issued in 16, August, 1898. To extend the celebrations, Dubai Parks and Resorts is also hosting a competition on all its social media channels (Instagram, Facebook and Twitter) to win tickets to MOTIONGATE™ Dubai to try the rollercoasters themselves.

Madagascar Mad Pursuit rollercoaster ride is one of five rollercoasters at MOTIONGATE™ Dubai. Other rides include Dragon gliders, The Green Hornet and Smurf Village Express. Opening soon 'Capitol Bullet Train' rollercoaster at the Lionsgate zone in MOTIONGATE™ Dubai, will feature the world's first ride inspired by the global blockbuster movie 'The Hunger Games' series.
