Leading Technology Provider for Consumer and Enterprise Markets Recognized for Enhanced Supply Chain Visibility

Foster City, Calif. - June 4, 2015 - E2open today announced that one of its customers, HP, has received a Manufacturing Leadership Award (ML Award) from industry analyst firm Frost & Sullivan. HP was recognized in the "Supply Chain Leadership" category for its partnership with E2open to develop the Regional Optimization Tool, part of a next-generation, holistic supply chain management (SCM) approach.

"Through our long-term partnership with HP, E2open is focused on building cutting-edge systems that will effectively manage complex supply chains from end-to-end. More companies are recognizing the great potential of moving to the cloud to achieve the real-time information that businesses require for a high-performing, demand-driven planning and response framework," said Michael Schmitt, Chief Marketing Officer, E2open. "We are pleased that HP's supply chain transformation efforts have been recognized by Frost & Sullivan."

"At HP, we are on a journey to drive greater supply chain efficiencies while continuing to leverage our competitive advantage of a responsive, integrated and profitable approach to supply chain planning and customer fulfillment," said Mark Bakker, Vice President, Americas Supply Chain Operations, HP. "Looking ahead, this demand-driven framework, which has been implemented in partnership with E2open, will help us achieve our larger goal of the next-generation supply chain via real-time information and collaboration."

Through E2open's Planning and Response (E2PR), HP now has the supply chain visibility at the regional level to evaluate and determine the best methods for demand fulfillment, as well as to create a commit plan for customers based on priorities. This planning infrastructure is tied to a global planning layer, which evaluates the global supply availability and creates an allocation for regions based on local demand. The ML Awards are now in their eleventh year. Nominations for breakthrough projects are entered into specific categories and evaluated by a panel of expert judges. ML Award winners will be honored on June 4, 2015 at a gala celebration following the Manufacturing Leadership Summit, a gathering of manufacturing leaders from around the world.
