Foster City, Calif. - June 2, 2015 - E2open, in partnership with Coriant, a global supplier of SDN-enabled end-to-end transport networking solutions, has been named to Supply & Demand Chain Executive's "100 Great Supply Chain Projects" for 2015. The annual list recognizes the collaboration between the two companies to deliver greater visibility into the contract manufacturing supply across Coriant's global network and to bring the flexibility and responsiveness needed for a superior outsourced supply chain. "By implementing E2open, we have integrated our outsourced supply chain into a common framework of collaborative partnerships and technology that delivers global visibility and responsiveness," said Ed Tymick, Vice President, Global Operations, Coriant. "With this unified view, we are effectively addressing the inventory liability challenge, as we are now able to cross-balance inventory between our contract manufacturers and our own manufacturing sites. Today, we can plan more than 50,000 components across six locations within the extended and outsourced supply chain in less than five minutes."

The 2015 Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 are leading supply chain solution and service providers helping their customers and clients achieve supply chain excellence. They have produced measurable gains in ROI through cost-cutting and increased efficiency, whether in warehouse, transportation, procurement sourcing or any other category in the end-to-end supply chain. The submissions were evaluated by the magazine's editorial staff primarily based on: the ambitiousness/scope of the project; creative application of technologies/solutions/services used; extent of the business results/impact; and clarity of submission.

"As more companies embrace the outsourced manufacturing model, increased visibility and collaboration throughout the global supply network, all the way down to the component level at contract manufacturers, are key for delivering the agility businesses need to be competitive and respond to shifting demand and supply positions in real time," said Michael Schmitt, Chief Marketing Officer, E2open. "We are pleased to have been able to partner with Coriant to help the business gain the management insight it needed to limit inventory liability, reduce excess and obsolete inventory, respond more quickly to changes in demand, and better support new product introduction with inventory cross-balancing. For our work with Coriant, we're honored to be recognized once again by Supply & Demand Chain Executive as one of the year's 100 Great Supply Chain Projects."
