For the three months ended March 31, 2014, the fund had net investment income of $28,136,962 or $0.239 per common share. Eaton Vance Limited Duration Income Fund (the Fund) is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fundâs primary investment objective is to provide a high level of current income. The Fund may, as a secondary objective, also seek capital appreciation to the extent it is consistent with its primary objective. The Fund is focused on investing approximately 25% of its total assets in investments rated investment grade, including United States Government securities, which may include United States Treasuries and mortgage-backed securities (MBS) and other securities issued, backed, or otherwise guaranteed by the United States Government, or its agencies or instrumentalities, commercial MBS, and corporate debt obligations. The Fund invests in various sectors, including aerospace and defense, air transport, automotive, biotechnology, building and development, and cable and satellite television. The Fund's investment advisor is Eaton Vance Management (EVM).
