Financial results - revenues and profit

Ekornes generated gross operating revenues of NOK 1,502.6 million in the first
six months of 2010, an increase of NOK 239.5 million or 19 per cent compared
with 2009. The underlying increase in gross revenues, at fixed exchange rates,
was 22 per cent.

In the year to 30 June 2010 the Group made a consolidated operating profit of
NOK 291.3 million (19.4 per cent), compared with NOK 187.7 million (14.9 per
cent) in 2009. This is an increase of 55.2 per cent.

Profit before tax totalled NOK 296.0 million (19.7 per cent), compared with NOK
171.3 million (13.6 per cent) in 2009. This is an improvement of 72.8 per cent.
Profit after estimated taxes totalled NOK 207.2 million, compared with NOK
119.1 million in 2009, which corresponds to earnings per share of NOK 5.63,
compared with NOK 3.23 in 2009.

Gross operating revenues in the second quarter 2010 totalled NOK 716.8 million,
compared with NOK 567.8 million in the corresponding period in 2009, a rise of
26.2 per cent. Operating profit in the second quarter totalled NOK 135.8 million
(18.9 per cent), compared with NOK 79.7 million (14,0 per cent) in the same
period last year.

Profit before tax came to  NOK 141.8 million (19.8 per cent), compared with NOK
84.0 million (14.8 per cent) in the second quarter of 2009. The second-quarter
result was impacted by a NOK 5.7 million increase in the value of capitalised
monetary items resulting from changes in exchange rates after the end of the
first quarter. The corresponding figure in 2009 was NOK 5.1 million.
