ELK-Desa Resources Berhad Announces Changes in the Nomination Committee Effective February 26, 2013

ELK-Desa Resources Berhad is an investment holding company. The Company operates through two segments: Hire purchase financing and Furniture. The Hire purchase financing segment is engaged in hire-purchase financing and other integrated services (insurance agent). The Furniture segment is engaged in trading and wholesaling of home furniture. Its furniture products are predominantly manufactured by contract manufacturers locally and from overseas. The Company, through its subsidiaries, ELK-Desa Capital Sdn Bhd is primarily involved in the business of hire purchase financing for used motor vehicles, as well as selling general insurance policies as an insurance agent., and ELK-Desa Furniture Sdn Bhd, which is involved in the business of trading and wholesaling of home furniture. The Company has two furniture retail showrooms located in Klang, Selangor. The products are distributed by the Company under its own brand, ELK-DESA.
