ENE increases Moranbah North gas supply from Anglo American and announces additional funding arrangements Anglo American and Moranbah North

Energy Developments Limited (ASX: ENE or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has entered into a new agreement for Anglo American's Metallurgical Coal business to continue its supply of waste coal mine gas (WCMG) to ENE's clean energy generation operations in the Bowen Basin over the next 25 years.
The long term extension to the WCMG supply contract until December 2038 will include gas supply from Anglo American's new Grosvenor metallurgical coal mine, which is currently under construction, as well as the existing Moranbah North mine. The agreement also provides the future opportunity for ENE to develop an 18MW expansion of the current 45 MW power project, subject to ENE Board approval.
Managing Director Greg Pritchard said today, "The extension of the gas supply arrangements for our Moranbah North facility demonstrates the important strategic relationship EDL has developed with Anglo American, using waste methane from their mining operations to generate clean, embedded power supply in the Bowen Basin".
ENE's existing 45 MW Moranbah North power project has been operational since 2008, using WCMG from the existing Moranbah North coal mine. In the year ended 30 June 2013 the Moranbah North power project produced approximately 310,000 MWh of clean energy, and abated and avoided approximately 1.2 million tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent greenhouse gas.
Anglo American's Grosvenor project is a $AUS1.7 billion growth project currently under development in the Moranbah region of Queensland's northern Bowen Basin. It involves developing a greenfield underground coal mine with an anticipated mine life in excess of 30 years.

Additional Funding Arrangements

ENE is also pleased to announce it has executed documentation for a $75 million facility provided by the Clean Energy Finance Corporation to compliment ENE's existing
$445 million corporate debt facility.
This new facility will provide finance for new projects meeting CEFC's low emissions technology or renewable energy criteria, including an expanded Moranbah North power project.
