Spire Healthcare's Chief Executive, Rob Rogers, has been named as the independent health sector's second most influential leader at a prestigious industry awards event.

Rob was narrowly beaten to poll position by HC-One and Court Cavendish boss Chai Patel, at the HealthInvestor Power Fifty 2014 countdown at the Bloomsbury Big Top on 27 November 2014.

This was not the only achievement that Spire Healthcare had to be proud of; Spire's IPO (stock market launch) was recognised as the 'Deal of the Year'.

"I congratulate Chai for his award, who for a long time has been a driving force in the carehomes sector", says Rob.

"On a personal note, I am delighted to be named as one of the top 15 leaders in the UK's independent health and social care sector, let alone be voted as number two. I am also especially proud of Spire Healthcare in winning 'Deal of the Year'. A lot of hard work from across the organisation went into making our IPO a success, and I'm thrilled we have been recognised for that."
