(Alliance News) - Esprinet Spa announced Thursday that it will distribute Garanteasy in Italy, a cloud service built around the needs of consumers that makes it easy to manage any type of warranty on consumer goods by connecting all the players in the warranty ecosystem: stores, e-commerce, manufacturers, insurance companies, service centers and payment systems.

The agreement includes several steps aimed at offering Esprinet partners a full range of services to make the management of warranties on products sold simpler and cheaper. The first step concerns the distribution of the Garanteasy-full service, aimed at dealers' end customers, whether physical stores or e-commerce: this is a cloud-based automatic storage service for receipts, invoices, data sheets, manuals, legal warranties, conventional warranties and extended warranties that are made available within a reserved area on Garanteasy.

The service also includes warranty expiration reporting, warranty transfer to gift recipients, an extremely easy-to-use defect reporting system for the end customer, and support from Garanteasy experts.

The goal of Garanteasy is to support Esprinet dealers in reducing warranty management costs while increasing the satisfaction and loyalty of their end customers. Esprinet will promote Garanteasy's services by organizing awareness webinars on the topic and involving vendors in a strategic project aimed at making warranty management increasingly simple for all players in the Esprinet ecosystem.

"This is not a simple commercial agreement but a true alliance aimed at making warranty management increasingly simple for all players in the supply chain with a logic of enhancing the quality and sustainability of the products distributed," Esprinet explained.

"The agreement with Esprinet has a strategic value for Garanteasy because thanks to it we will be able to propose our service to thousands of dealers who are already their customers and, above all, to enrich our value proposition with the after-sales services offered by the vendors distributed by Esprinet," said Carmela Magno, founder and CEO of Garanteasy.

"The partnership with Garanteasy is important for the Esprinet Group's positioning strategy in services," commented Patrizia Combi, Group Digital Solutions Division Manager at Esprinet.

"In fact, the Garanteasy range enriches our offer of digital solutions and represents an interesting business opportunity that our partners can convey to the end market."

Esprinet's stock is down 0.7 percent at EUR4.81 per share.
