Excelsior Capital Limited is an Australia-based company, which is engaged in the design and distribution of electrical components and cables for resource infrastructure applications and the management of an investment portfolio. The Company's segments include electrical components and investment portfolio. The Company's electrical components segment includes two business areas: Electrical Cables, which includes brands, such as XLPE Cables, Hartland Cables and Aflex Cables, and Minto Industrial Products, which specializes in couplers and receptacle products in the mining and construction industry. It supplies electronic equipment for defense, aviation, electrical safety markets and consumer electronic equipment for home use. The Company's investment portfolio segment invests in listed and unlisted equity instruments, hybrid notes, quoted debt instruments and/or investment trusts to achieve long term dividend returns and capital appreciation.
