Farmak began exporting medicines to the Republic of South Africa

The pharmaceutical company Farmak exported its own products to the Republic of South Africa (RSA) for the first time at the end of August, and sales started in the fall.

The medicine is used for the local treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis.

The South African market is one of the most highly regulated in Africa, so the procedures for registering medicines are quite long: Farmak took 3.5 years to complete this process. Moreover, this result can be considered ultra-fast, because the process usually takes up to five years.

South Africa has become the 11th country in Africa and the 60th in the world to which Farmak exports its products.

As part of the global strategy of transformation into an international company, Farmak also continues to strengthen its position in the EU market. Thus, the company recently acquired marketing pharmaceutical companies in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and continues to build its own plant in Spain.
