FIRST FEDERAL SAVINGS BANK OF INDIANA ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH INTERNATIONAL RED CROSS TO RAISE FUNDS FOR UKRAINIAN REFUGEES
Evansville, Indiana: March 11, 2022. First Federal Savings Bank, Member FDIC, is pleased to announce a partnership with the International Red Cross to raise money for Ukrainian refugees.
Each of their nine bank locations will be accepting cash or check donations. Checks should be made payable to First Federal Savings Bank. Digital payments can be made via Zelle® by searching donations@fbei.netwithin the Zelle® app.
At a recent news conference, Viktor Voronin, a citizen from Ukraine and pastor of Grace of Christ Slavic Church, addressed the refugee crisis unfolding in Ukraine. "We received a note from one of them yesterday," he said. "People are hiding in dungeons or bomb shelters. They absolutely can't help themselves." At this time, it is difficult to get supplies into the country so monetary donations are the only thing being accepted.
