FocalTech Systems Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 5,772.267 million compared to TWD 2,767.596 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 2,038.848 million compared to TWD 107.457 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 2,106.351 million compared to TWD 106.638 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 10.43 compared to TWD 0.38 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 9.95 compared to TWD 0.36 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 10,122.121 million compared to TWD 5,677.233 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 2,964.342 million compared to TWD 178.162 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 2,952.091 million compared to TWD 172.824 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 14.7 compared to TWD 0.62 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 13.93 compared to TWD 0.59 a year ago.
FocalTech Systems Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the research, development, design, manufacture and sale of human-machine interface application chip products. The main products include touch and display integrated single chips, capacitive touch chips, thin film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) panel driver chips, active-matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) panel driver chips, fingerprint recognition chips, automotive and industrial control chips. The products are used in smart phones, tablet computers, wearable devices, digital cameras, automotive products and other fields.
