Fortuna Entertainment : ‘s Amounts Staked grew 24.2% to EUR 511.6 million in the first half of 2016

Amsterdam/Prague/Warsaw - Fortuna Entertainment Group N. V., the leading regulated Central European fixed-odds betting and multi-channel operator, has announced its unaudited consolidated results for the first half of 2016.

· Total Amounts Staked increased by 24.2% to EUR511.6 million

· Total Gross Win increased by19.9%to EUR80.5 million

· Online Sports Betting Gross Win increased by30.9%to EUR 50.2 million

· Total EBITDA increased by 7.7% to EUR 9.7 million

'Our robust performance was driven by growing online sports betting, and in particular mobile, in all the countries where Fortuna operates. The growth was also supported by the UEFA EURO 2016 football tournament in France in which the national teams played from all the countries where Fortuna is present,'said Per Widerström, CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of Fortuna Entertainment Group N.V.

For the first half of 2016 Fortuna recorded Total Amounts Staked of EUR 511.6 million, 24.2% more than in the first half of 2015, according to the consolidated unaudited financial results.

In the first half of 2016, the Gross Win amounted to EUR 80.5 million, an increase of 19.9% in comparison to the same period of 2015. It was partly driven by solid results achieved during the EURO 2016 football championship. The Gross Win from online sports betting in the first half of 2016 rose to EUR 50.2 million, an increase of 30.9% over the same period of 2015.

Group EBITDA of Fortuna amounted to EUR 9.7 million in the first half of 2016, 7.7% more year on year.

For the first half of 2016, the Company recorded a net profit of EUR 5.4 million, 12.1% more than was seen in the first six months of the previous year.
