FuelCell Energy, Inc. Appoints Donna Sims Wilson to Its Board of Directors

On August 13, 2021, the Board of Directors of FuelCell Energy, Inc. increased the size of the Board to seven directors and elected a new director – Donna Sims Wilson – to serve on the Board effective August 13, 2021, until the annual meeting of the stockholders of the Company to be held in 2022 or until her earlier resignation or removal. In addition to her election to the Board, Ms. Sims Wilson has been appointed, effective August 13, 2021, to serve on the Audit and Finance Committee and the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. Ms. Sims Wilson is currently Chief Operating Officer of Kah Capital Management, an alternative asset management firm, where she serves on the Management Committee, the Investment and Risk Management Committee, and is Chairman of the Valuation Committee. Donna is an advocate of diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, and she helps businesses break down demographic, social and geographic barriers to achieve expanded levels of success. Additionally, Donna brings extensive corporate governance experience through her international corporate board service, leadership positions with numerous not for profit boards and working closely with institutional investors and analysts.
FuelCell Energy, Inc. is engaged in delivering environmentally responsible distributed baseload energy platform solutions through its fuel cell technology. The Company is a global manufacturer of stationary fuel cell and electrolysis platforms that decarbonize power and produce hydrogen. Its commercial technology produces electricity, heat, hydrogen, and water while separating carbon for utilization and/or sequestration. Its product portfolio is based on two electrochemical platforms, carbonate, and solid oxide. Both platforms can support power generation and combined heat and power applications using a variety of fuels, including natural gas, renewable biogas, and hydrogen. Its Carbonate platforms use a mixture of reforming and electrolysis, while solid oxide platforms can be used for pure hydrogen electrolysis. Its solid oxide platform operates on pure hydrogen fuel.
