Futebol Clube do Porto Futebol SAD : “We are a strong group and we are already thinking about the next three points”

This Monday, FC Porto lost to SC Braga (1-0), a Estádio Municipal de Braga, with reasons to complain about the referring on matchday 31 of the Portugal Bwin League. Pepe talked of the "many chances to score" that the Dragons missed and added "three penalties" that the refereeing team failed to see against Braga. The result, of course, does not please the group, but thoughts are already on Saturday (19h00), against Vizela, at Estádio do Dragão: "There are three matches left for us to reach our goal", the captain added.

"There's a lot of talk about the referees, about Mehdi, and the referee came here conditioned. I can't say much or I'll risk being banned from more matches, so people will have to analyse. There are three plays. With so many cameras, I don't understand how people can't see them. We started the match well, but there's nothing we can do about it. We worked, we fought, but SC Braga was fortunate enough to score the goal. We kept looking for the tie, but, unfortunately, we didn't manage to get it. Obviously, this was not the result we wanted."

SC Braga reduced to defending
"SC Braga defended the entire match, but, against other teams, Braga tries to have the ball and score. Today, they went with a different tactic and a very low block. It's also part of the game to defend for 90 minutes, but we had many chances to score and there were three penalty situations. We created a lot, but today the ball didn't go in. Either way, we have to be calm and pleased because we worked and fought hard, but we are not happy with the result. There are still three matches left for us to reach our goal."

"We knew it was another final, the coach warned us that it was a final and we always play to win. Today we lost, but we are a strong group and we are already thinking about the next three points."
