OMAHA, NE--(Marketwired - Dec 6, 2016) -  Gordmans Stores, Inc. (NASDAQ: GMAN), an Omaha-based apparel and home decor retailer, has named Ramin Mozafari Senior Vice President of Planning and Allocation.

Ramin joins Gordmans from Kohl's Department Stores, one of the largest department store chains in the U.S. At Kohl's, he was Senior Vice President, Divisional Merchandise Manager for Accessories and, prior to that, Senior Vice President, Planning and Allocation for Center Core. Prior to Kohl's, from 2008 to 2012, Ramin served with leading footwear retailer DSW, Inc., where he held various merchandising roles including Vice President, General Merchandise Manager. Ramin began his retail career with Macy's Inc. and held a number of positions culminating in Vice President level positions in Merchandising and Planning and Allocation. 

Ramin has a master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Miami, and a bachelor of science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
