As Calgary is hit with another emergency resulting from the rail bridge collapse that devastated five cars of fuel, GardaWorld continues to work with clients during their Alberta flood recovery efforts.

Employee safety

We continue to provide temporary housing for our staff while supplying food to those on-location. Our people have gone above and beyond by assisting with recovery efforts despite finding themselves without homes, clothing, and other necessities.  The level of professionalism we have witnessed among our employees has been incredible.

Calgary downtown core

Most GardaWorld buildings in the downtown core have returned to normal operations. However, two of our largest sites, Oxford Centennial and H&R The Bow, remain under lockdown with hopes of opening with limited access over the next couple of days.

Protecting our clients

Our aggressive recruitment campaign to bring on an additional 100 licensed security guards in order to meet growing client needs as they work through their recovery efforts, is moving forward with much success. We have currently met 40 percent of that commitment and continue in our recruitment efforts.

As we continue to make progress in our recovery efforts and ability to assist your business continuity, we will maintain communication, sending you periodic updates. In the meantime, if you have any needs or concerns that we can help you address, please contact our Calgary office at 403 255 7940.
