The Board of directors of Ginebra San Miguel Inc. elected Justice Francisco H. Villaruz, Jr. (Ret.) as independent director of the company vice Justice Angelina S. Gutierrez (Ret.), who resigned effective October 8, 2014 in the light of her appointment as a member of the Judicial and Bar Council. Justice Villaruz, among others, previously held the position of Presiding Justice of Sandiganbayan from October 10, 2011 to June 8, 2013.
