Global Brass and Copper Holdings, Inc. is proud to announce that its subsidiary GBC Metals, LLC doing business as Olin Brass received the 2018 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year Award for its outstanding efforts in Energy Management. Olin Brass’s accomplishments were recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy at a ceremony in Washington, D.C. on April 20, 2018.

“For the second year in a row, Olin Brass is honored to receive the Energy Star Partner of the Year award. The Olin Brass energy conservation journey began in 2011. By following the ENERGY STAR program guidelines, Olin Brass has saved over $6 Million and 367,000 MMBTU’s. This award highlights the continued effort of our team’s focus to reduce our environmental footprint and increase our energy efficiency. To not only sustain the 2016 achievement, but show year over year improvement in 2017 is a remarkable accomplishment,” said Dale Taylor, President, Olin Brass.
