Grupa Kety S A : A competition within the ‘TooWhat’ project.

The organisers of the 'TooWhat' project have prepared a special competition for children and youths of the Bielsko-Biała schools.

The entry is a short spot in a multimedia form or a poster devoted to prevention of peer violence, an objection against that phenomenon, and reacting to it. It is also meant as a consideration of the subject with regard to prophylactics and specific actions.

A growing number of people are suffering of peer violence. It has a negative impact on mental health and may lead to depressive disorders or even suicidal thoughts. Recently, the scale of the phenomenon has grown alarmingly, therefore, raising awareness among children, youths, their parents and teachers is of crucial importance.

The goal of the competition is to draw attention to the scale of peer violence or bullying, as well as extension of knowledge in that subject among all social groups. The necessity of prevention by promoting an active attitude, based on the readiness to help, tolerance and sympathy is essential.
