Hamon - Esindus, already established as one of the main cooling companies in Mexico, has been selected to provide two cooling towers and contribute decisively to the development of the Dos Bocas Refinery developed on a 566 ha-site near the maritime terminal, in the Paraíso municipality of Tabasco, southeast Mexico.

Our scope of supply will include the engineering, supply, delivery, and supervision of a 9 cell Induced Draft Cooling Tower for the Combined plant and a 5 cell IDCT for the Alkylation plant.

Scheduled to start commercial production in 2022, the Dos Bocas refinery project is being developed as part of Mexico's National Refining Plan of December 2018 that aims at reducing its reliance on fuel imports from the US. The construction of Dos Bocas Refinery will increase the supply of gasoline and diesel by at least 290 Mbd.

The Plant, made up of 17 units as well as auxiliary services and the storage infrastructure and integrations necessary for its operation, will process 100% Mexican crude.

Thanks to these new projects and our local team, Hamon - Esindus will be taking part to the industrial development of the Mexican Oil & Gas market and consolidating our leadership position in the Mexican cooling market.
