Thirty EV charging stations have been out of service since Tuesday in Hawaii, according to a khon2.com report. The Hawaiian Electric Co. said it has been working to restore a systemwide outage but was not certain when it will be ready.

The utility said Shell Recharge, which operates the stations, has been performing maintenance on the network.

Stations at Iwilei Costco, Hawaii Kai 7-11 and Waianae Shopping Mall were operational, the utility said.
