The Board of Henry Boot PLC announced the establishment of a new Responsible Business Committee. The aims of the Responsible Business Committee are to support the Board and Executive Committee of the Group with the development, delivery, and evaluation of the Group's new Responsible Business Strategy, to advise on proposed changes to reporting and governance, and to incorporate Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) ambitions and targets in the Group's commercial strategy. Members of the Responsible Business Committee include fellow Non-executive Directors Joanne Lake, James Sykes and Gerald Jennings, along with the Chief Executive Officer and Group Finance Director, who will each be responsible for providing input and insight, together with sponsorship and support of a number of different pillars across the ESG agenda. Committee support will also be provided by Amy Stanbridge, General Counsel and Company Secretary.
