HIRANO TECSEED Co., Ltd. announced unaudited consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2014. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of JPY 4,199 million compared to JPY 5,094 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 91 million compared to JPY 613 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 115 million compared to JPY 654 million a year ago. Net income was JPY 44 million compared to JPY 409 million a year ago. Net income per share was JPY 2.93 compared to JPY 27.20 a year ago.
For the first half of 2015, the company expects dividend of JPY 5.00 per share.
For the year ending March 31, 2015, the company expects dividend of JPY 5.00 per share.
For the half year of 2015, on consolidated basis, the company expects net sales of JPY 7,500 million, operating income of JPY 115 million, ordinary income of JPY 150 million, net income of JPY 90 million or JPY 5.98 per share.
For the year ending March 31, 2015, on consolidated basis, the company expects net sales of JPY 15,500 million, operating income of JPY 450 million, income of JPY 500 million, net income of JPY 340 million or JPY 22.60 per share.
HIRANO TECSEED Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of coating machines-related and chemical machines-related equipment, among others. The Coating Machines-related segment manufactures and sells coating and laminating-related machines such as magnetic tapes, composite films for wrapping, adhesive tapes, synthetic leathers, floor materials, wallpaper, decorative sheets, insulating plates, as well as drying and heat disposal machines, among others. The Chemical Machines-related segment manufactures and sells macromolecular chemical machines such as machines for plastic films, film formations, electrical printed circuit boards (PCBs) and ceramic sheet moldings, high-heat processing equipment, drying and heat disposal machines and others.
