HOKKAIDO Meiji Cup

Second-Year Pro Earns Her First JLPGA Tour Victory!!

HONMA GOLF CO., LTD. (Head office: Roppongi Hills Mori Tower 35F, 6-10-1 Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo; representative director & president: Yasuki Ito) congratulates Tour staffer Haruka Morita on capturing the 2017 JLPGA HOKKAIDO Meiji Cup at Sapporo International Country Club, Shimamatsu Course in Hokkaido. It's her first JLPGA victory.

Starting the final round in third place two strokes back of the leader, Morita took charge with three consecutive back-nine birdies to finish the event at 10-under-par and win by one stroke over her nearest competitor.

Morita has been under contract with HONMA ever since she turned pro. Not only is she a tour staffer and HONMA poster girl, but she's also the only staffer to wear HONMA-branded apparel. She also provides valuable feedback on performance and design, in her role as an advisor.
