RESIGNATION OF DIRECTORS

Mr Bian Shu Guang has resigned as an Executive Director of the Company with effect from 7 August 2019.

Ms Niu Yi has also resigned as an Executive Director of the Company with effect from 7 August 2019.

Professor Zhou Xin has resigned as an Independent non-executive Director of the Company, a member of each of the Audit Committee, Nomination Committee, Remuneration Committee and Resumption Committee of the Company with effect from 7 August 2019.

Mr Choong Khuat Leok has also resigned as an Independent non-executive Director of the Company, the chairman of each of the Audit Committee and Resumption Committee of the Company and a member of each of the Nomination Committee and Remuneration Committee of the Company with effect from 8 August 2019.

Mr Bian Shu Guang, Ms Niu Yi and Professor Zhou Xin have respectively confirmed that they do not have any disagreement with the board of directors of the Company and they are not aware of any matter in relation to their resignation that would need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company.

Upon the appointment of the Provisional Liquidators to the Company with effective on 3 August 2019, all powers of the directors of the Company have ceased and the directors no longer have any authority to deal with the assets and/or undertakings of the Company. However, their responsibilities and duties as directors remain.
