A Multi-‐Year Agreement for Cedar Siding and Shingle Products
St. Louis, Mo-Huttig Building Products, Inc., (NASDAQ: HBP), a leading domestic distributor of millwork, building materials and wood products, today announced that they have entered a multi-‐ year distribution agreement to be the exclusive distributor of the complete line of Maibec cedar siding and shingles. Maibec is the leading provider of this product category.

Maibec will be available from Huttig's northeast distribution centers in Hooksett, New Hampshire; Newington, Connecticut; Augusta, Maine and Selkirk, New York and will service the states of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Eastern New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.
Huttig, currently in its 131st year of business, is one of the largest domestic distributors of millwork, building materials and wood products used principally in new residential construction and in home improvement, remodeling and repair work. Huttig distributes its products through 26 distribution centers serving 41 states. Huttig's wholesale distribution centers sell principally to building materials dealers, national buying groups, home centers and industrial users, including makers of manufactured homes.
Active in the wood processing sector since 1946, Maibec is the largest producer of eastern white cedar shingles in North America, the leading Canadian manufacturer of solid wood siding, and the largest producer of cedar mulch in Canada. It employs nearly 850 people at its Canadian and U.S. facilities.
