Intel announced on Wednesday that it will extend its strategic collaboration with Indian IT services giant Infosys to include its AI-related technologies for enterprises.

Under the terms of the agreement, the chipmaker says Infosys Topaz - Infosys' generative AI platform - will adopt its Xeon processors and Gaudi gas pedals, as well as its software and future product generations.

With this partnership, Infosys explains that it will be able to offer its customers the possibility of integrating applications linked to generative AI into their activities.

In parallel, Infosys intends to deploy the training tools offered by Intel in order to teach its employees to master Intel's product portfolio, so as to be able to provide generative AI expertise to its vast network of customers, whatever their sector of activity.
