Interserve Group Limited, the international Support Services, Construction and Equipment Group, has been selected by the NHS Shared Business Services (SBS) Framework, as a contractor to provide facilities management (FM), asset compliance and security services.
Interserve's Compliance team employs 320 people and manages legislative compliance for customers and their estates. Services include risk assessment, training, preventative maintenance, reactive response and project activities. The team also provides market-leading fire protection and detection services, Legionella and water management and asbestos management services.
The Framework represents the NHS's approach to providing an efficient method of supplying business services to NHS Trusts across the country by operating as a vehicle for public sector organisations to facilitate the procurement of a range of services. The services include: security, porterage, fire safety and cleaning.
The Framework will be made available free of charge to all public sector organisations in the UK including the NHS, police, education and local authorities.
Interserve's Compliance team undertakes 8,000 plan maintenance projects and 4,500 reactive maintenance jobs per month. Clients include one of the UK's main public utility companies, several UK Government departments and private companies including leading aerospace firm Eaton.
