InterXion Holding N.V. announced unaudited consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2018. For the quarter, the company reported revenue of EUR 133,836,000 compared to EUR 113,950,000 a year ago. Operating income was EUR 26,873,000 compared to EUR 23,845,000 a year ago. Profit or loss before income taxes was EUR 15,469,000 compared to EUR 13,558,000 a year ago. Net income was EUR 11,657,000 or EUR 0.16 per basic and diluted share compared to EUR 10,258,000 or EUR 0.14 per basic and diluted share a year ago. Adjusted EBITDA was EUR 60,876,000 compared to EUR 51,336,000 a year ago. Capital expenditure, including intangible assets was EUR 96,195,000 compared to EUR 54,757,000 a year ago. Net cash flows from operating activities were EUR 34,576,000 compared to EUR 41,614,000 a year ago. Purchase of property plant and equipment was EUR 94,218,000 compared to EUR 52,923,000 a year ago. Purchase of intangible assets was EUR 1,977,000 compared to EUR 1,834,000 a year ago. Adjusted net income was EUR 11,900,000 or EUR 0.17 per basic and diluted share compared to EUR 10,154,000 or EUR 0.14 per basic and diluted share a year ago.

The company reaffirmed earnings guidance for the full year of 2018. For the year, the company expects revenue EUR 553 million to EUR 569 million, adjusted EBITDA of EUR 250 million to EUR 260 million and capital expenditures (including intangibles) of EUR 365 million to EUR 390 million. The company expects that cross connect revenue will be approximately 6% of total revenue for the year. Non-recurring revenue is expected to be in the range of EUR 5 million to EUR 6 million per quarter, while sales and marketing costs are expected to be within the range of 7% to 8% of total revenue. G&A expenses are expected to be within their typical range of 8% to 9% of total revenue. And lastly, cash tax rate should continue to trend higher towards effective tax rate of 25%.

By fourth quarter of 2018, ARPU is expected to be between EUR 414 and EUR 418, with modest quarterly fluctuations based on the level of installation activity.
