Tuscaloosa, Ala. --Investar Bank, National Association (NASDAQ: ISTR) ("Investar") converted its existing Loan and Deposit Production Office located at 120 McFarland Blvd. North, Northport, Alabama, to a Cashless Branch on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. Designed to provide a dynamic and streamlined digital banking experience, this modern 2,900-square-foot facility features a digital station for customers to conduct business using the branch's iPad and two full-service Interactive Teller Machines (ITM) with ATM capabilities. This is Investar's twenty-ninth branch across the footprint and seventh in Alabama.
In alignment with Investar's strategic digital transformation, the location is not a traditional branch. However, clients can utilize the ITM to deposit and cash checks. Staffed with a Market President, Commercial Relationship Manager, and Branch Manager, it is a cashless, service-based model designed to deliver targeted loan and deposit products along with treasury services to small business and commercial customers.
