BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Investar Holding Corp. (ISTR) on Thursday reported net income of $3.5 million in its fourth quarter.

The bank, based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, said it had earnings of 36 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 39 cents per share.

The holding company for Investar Bank posted revenue of $38.4 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $20.2 million, falling short of Street forecasts.

For the year, the company reported profit of $16.7 million, or $1.69 per share. Revenue was reported as $81.1 million.
