Invuity, Inc. Appoints Daniel Wolterman to its Board of Directors, Effective September 5, 2017

Invuity, Inc. is a United States-based medical technology company. The Company is focused on developing and marketing photonics devices to improve the ability of surgeons to illuminate and visualize the surgical cavity during open minimally invasive and minimal access surgery. Its Photonics technology is integrated into a family of optical waveguides, including its line of reusable tissue retractors, single-use handheld aspiration and universal drop-in intracavity illuminator devices. Its Photonics technology converts thermally hot, concentrated light output to thermally cool volumetric illumination throughout the entire surgical cavity. Its products include Eikon, Eika, Eipex, Eivector, Breiten, Saber Yankauer, PhotonSaber F and Waveguide XT. Its clinical applications include women's health, encompassing breast cancer and breast reconstructive surgery, and thyroid surgery. Its additional applications include procedures for electrophysiology, cardiothoracic and general surgery.
