Announcement on commencing sales of "Glass film with Insurance"
LCD protective film by Elecom for new iPhones
We shall hereby announce that, our group company Rescue Insurance Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Mr. Shoji Sugimoto, hereinafter "Rescue Insurance") will collaborate with Japan PC Service Co., Ltd. (Head office: Suita city, Osaka, Representative Director: Mr. Nobuyuki Ieki, Ticker:6025, hereinafter "Japan PC Service", which is engaged in setting and troubleshooting of IT equipment) and Elecom Co., Ltd.(Head office: Osaka City, Osaka, Representative Director: Mr. Yukio Shibata, hereinafter "Elecom") to commence the new product accompanying service with insurance for LCD protective glass film compatible with all 4 new iPhone models and for covering repair costs in the event when the screen is cracked. We will start selling this new product through electric appliance retailors across Japan and web shops from September 24, 2021.

Elecom provides high quality LCD protective films matching the screen size of the latest devices. Under the circumstance in which other companies sell various types of products, Elecom is proactively implementing
product development in order to offer attractive added value and increase customer satisfaction.
iPhone is a popular device with a high market share in Japan as it has pursued high functionality and high performance. The price of device has doubled compared to the price ca. 10 years ago as new function is added
every time a new model is released and the cost of repair has also soared due to the high price of its parts. Under such circumstance, Elecom will offer service with insurance covering the cost of repairing cracked LCD
screens as a part of its after-sales support. This service shall reduce the burden of sudden expense of users in case of such accident.
Japan PC Service provides comprehensive support for IT equipment and focuses on providing services with
insurance for IT equipment as a "precaution against troubles". We have realized the sales of "Glass film with Insurance" as we can provide newly added value to the purchaser through the synergy with Elecom's products used by a wide range of users.
In cooperation with Rescue Insurance, Japan PC Service has
