JPMorgan Mid Cap Announces the Retirement of Michael Hughes as Chairman of the Company

JPMorgan Mid Cap Investment Trust plc (the Trust) is a United Kingdom-based investment trust. The Trust's investment objective is to achieve capital growth from investment in medium-sized United Kingdom listed companies. The Trust specializes in investment in FTSE 250 companies, using long- and short-term borrowings to increase returns for shareholders. The Company will not invest more than 15% of its assets in other United Kingdom listed investment companies. Approximately 15% of the portfolio at prevailing values may be invested outside the FTSE 250 Index, including AIM stocks. The Company’s gearing policy is to operate within a range of 10% net cash to 20% geared in normal market conditions. It invests across various sectors, such as consumer discretionary, industrials, financials, consumer staples, technology, energy, health care, telecommunications, real estate and basic materials.
