(Alliance News) - Juventus FC announced Tuesday that "with reference to rumors that appeared in today's press, it informs that it has sent a communication to the two other clubs that, like Juventus, have not exercised their withdrawal from the Super Lega project - Football Club Barcelona and Real Madrid Club de Futbol - in order to initiate a period of discussion among the three clubs having as its object the possible exit of Juventus from the Super Lega Project."

The corporate note goes on to indicate that "the company will proceed with any communications due under the law at the outcome of the interlocutions and evaluations regarding the above, specifying that many of the reconstructions reported in the press about the contents of the communication - including any reference to alleged threats of possible sanctions by UEFA - do not correspond to the truth."

Juventus FC closed Tuesday's session in the green by 0.2 percent at EUR0.33 per share.
