Kering in talks with eyewear manufacturer Marcolin

According to the Financial Times, Kering has begun discussions with the eyewear manufacturer Marcolin, which is owned by PAI Partners. Other groups in discussion include EssilorLuxottica, Safilo and the Marchon group, according to the FT.
' The asking price, however, is said to be the subject of disagreement between Marcolin and its interlocutors' underlines Invest Securities in its note of the day.
' Marcolin is an Italian eyewear manufacturer founded in 1961, which produces eyewear for brands such as Tom Ford, Tod's and Zegna' adds Invest Securities.
