Khaleeji Commercial Bank Appoints Jassim Mohammed Al-Seddiqi as Chairman of the Board of Directors

Khaleeji Commercial Bank BSC (KHCB) is a Bahrain-based public shareholding company that offers retail banking, investment and financial services in accordance to the Islamic Sharia laws and principals. The Bank is organized, along with its subsidiaries, into two business segments: Commercial banking and Investment banking. The Commercial banking segment provides such services as accepting Mudaraba deposits, savings account and current account facilities, fund transfer facilities, bill payment facilities, financing facilities to corporate clients and high net-worth Individuals, and consumer finance products, as well as money market and treasury services, in the form of short term commodity Murabaha to banks, financial institutions and corporate. The Investment banking segment is involved in conceptualizing of investment deals and performing roles of an arranger, lead manager and administrator of the funds, and carrying out investments.
