General Announcement::Application for Extension of Judicial Management Orders

APPLICATION FOR EXTENSION OF JUDICIAL MANAGEMENT ORDERS

Unless otherwise specified, all capitalised terms shall bear the same meaning ascribed to them in the announcements dated 28 August 2020, 31 August 2020, 13 October 2020, 14 January 2021, 9 February 2021, 26 March 2021 and 6 April 2021 (the "Announcements").

Further to the Announcement dated 6 April 2021, the Court had granted the Extension Applications and made the orders for, inter alia, the validity of the Judicial Management Orders dated 13 October 2020 in respect of the Company and KS Drilling to be extended for a period of six (6) months from 11 April 2021 until 11 October 2021. The Judicial Managers wish to announce that they have filed applications to the Court for:

1. The validity of the Judicial Management Order in respect of the Company to be extended for a period of three (3) months from 11 October 2021 until 11 January 2022; and
2. The validity of the Judicial Management Order in respect of KS Drilling to be extended for a period of one (1) month from 11 October 2021 until 11 November 2021,

(the "Further Extension Applications").

The Court has fixed the hearing date of the Further Extension Applications on 20 October 2021 at 2:30 PM. The Court has also issued the following directions:

1. Any party who objects to the Further Extension Applications is to file an affidavit by 14 October 2021 at 4:00 PM. All affidavits are to be served by email, followed by e-service.
2. The following are to be tendered to Court by 15 October 2021 at 4:00 PM:
3. 1. Submissions and bundle of authorities;
   2. An attendance list of parties who wish to attend the hearing, indicating whether the party attending is supporting or opposing the Further Extension Applications; and
   3. A time bank.

The Court has also granted an interim extension of the Judicial Management Orders until the hearing of the Further Extension Applications on 20 October 2021.
