NEW YORK (dpa-AFX Broker) - The analyst firm Jefferies has upgraded its rating for Lanxess to "Hold" with a target price of 26 euros after the quarterly figures. The operating result (adjusted Ebitda) of the specialty chemicals group largely met its forecast and the consensus estimate, analyst Chris Counihan wrote in an initial reaction available on Thursday. However, the Ebitda outlook for the first quarter and the full year 2024 was weaker than expected, which is why he expects pressure on the share at the start of trading./edh/ck
