The board of directors of Leeport (Holdings) Limited announced that Mr. Pike, Mark Terence has tendered his resignation as an independent non-executive director with effect from 29 January 2019 and he will cease to be the chairman of the audit committee and member of nomination committee, remuneration committee and audit committee of the Company with effect from 29 January 2019 in order to devote more time to his other business commitments and the company also announced that Dr. Lee Tai Chiu has tendered his resignation as an INED with effect from 29 January 2019 and he will cease to be the chairman of the remuneration committee and member of nomination committee, remuneration committee and audit committee of the company with effect from 29 January 2019 in order to devote more time to his other business commitments. The company also announced that Mr. Wong Tat Cheong, Frederick will be appointed as an INED of the company and chairman of the audit committee and member of nomination committee, remuneration committee and audit committee of the Company with effect from 29 January 2019 and the company announced that Mr. Fung Wai Hing will be appointed as an INED of the company and chairman of the remuneration committee and member of nomination committee remuneration committee and audit committee of the company with effect from 29 January 2019. Mr. Fung, aged 66, he served as a member of the Metals Committee of the Industry & Technology Development Council, Industry Department, HK Government, during 1993-97, and as a member of the Technology Committee during 1995-97. He was Secretary General of the Hong Kong Die-casting Association during 2007-08; and later, as Honorary President and Committee Member of the Hong Kong Die-casting & Foundry Association until 2014. He is currently a registered manager (SBM) of the Incorporated Management Committee of two Catholic schools. Mr. Wong, aged 63, he had extensive accounting and auditing experience in Hong Kong, Mainland China and United Kingdom. Mr. Wong was a former directorate civil servant of the HKSAR Government. He is currently a practicing Certified Public Accountant in Hong Kong. Both Mr. Pike and Dr. Lee have tendered their resignations in order to devote more time to their other business commitments.
