Liberty Bancorp, Inc. (OTCQB: LBCP) announced the appointment of Dr. Dennis Fisher to the Board of Directors. Dr. Fisher was also appointed to the Board of Directors of BankLiberty, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Liberty Bancorp, Inc.

Dr. Fisher, a 28 year resident of the Northland, is the recently retired Superintendent of the Park Hill School District. Among his many honors was his selection as the 2010 Missouri Superintendent of the Year. Dr. Fisher led Park Hill to meet all 14 standards on the state's annual performance review every year he was superintendent. Under Dr. Fisher, Park Hill was the first district to win the Missouri Quality Award for meeting customers' needs and using best processes. Before his 13 years with the Park Hill School District, Dr. Fisher served 14 years as Assistant Superintendent for Business Services for the Liberty Public Schools. Dr. Fisher currently serves as Chair of the Platte County Economic Development Council. He is also the former Chair of the Missouri Securities Investment Program.
