Kronach, Germany - The Loewe Operating System presented at IFA 2014 introduces fascinating new features that are fun to use and specifically designed to enhance the usability of a home entertainment system. Applications range from fast channel changes and an intelligent artist search, to remote programming and mobile TV viewing on a tablet via home Wi-Fi network. The Loewe Operating System is already integrated into the newest Loewe televisions. Lasting value: previously purchased Loewe products (chassis SL 2xx) can be easily upgraded with a USB flash drive.

Sometimes it's hard for a family or a group of friends to agree on which television programme to watch. Or perhaps two favourite shows need to be recorded at the same time. No problem when you have a Loewe TV equipped with an integrated DR+ hard disk recorder. The new Loewe Multi Recording feature makes it possible to record two different programmes and watch a third channel all at the same time. This system also works with an external USB hard drive.

Loewe Smart tv2move instantly transforms a tablet computer into a second TV set. Which means no more missed live broadcasts. Completely independent from the television in the living room, the new Loewe app zaps through all TV channels, programs recordings or plays archived files from a hard disk recorder. And it works anywhere within range of a home Wi-Fi network - from the bedroom to the kitchen or terrace.

The days of missing a favourite TV show when you're away from home are over. Loewe Mobile Recording via the Loewe Smart Assist app makes remote recording of TV programmes from a smartphone quick, easy and convenient.

Finding a favourite artist is fun with Loewe Artist Search. The Internet radio feature in Loewe televisions offers an unparalleled selection of music channels: 30,000 Internet radio stations from countries across the globe play everything from baroque to rock. The intelligent search function lets you simply enter the name of an artist and a list of stations currently playing that particular music appears on the television screen. A touch of a button selects the desired programme and the unique overview feature shows which stations frequently play music by your favourite artist.

Loewe televisions are specially designed for user-friendly operation. And this includes the Instant Channel Zapping feature developed by Loewe for lightening fast channel changes. Now zapping through the extensive range of TV programmes is quicker and easier than ever before.

The elegant, clearly arranged Loewe Assist Media user interface ensures simple, intuitive and individualised control of the complete Loewe home entertainment system. User-friendly operation is supported by concise, intelligently designed icons. Many Loewe televisions feature an integrated hard disk recorder. A new folder structure developed by Loewe offers a simpler overview of archived files and makes it easier to keep recordings organised.
