Nxt-ID, Inc. Appoints Chia-Lin Simmons as a Member of the Board

In connection with this transition, on June 14, 2021, the Board of Nxt-ID, Inc. approved and ratified an employment agreement with Chia-Lin Simmons, 48, and formally appointed her to the role of member of the Board, effective June 14, 2021. Ms. Simmons will perform the services and duties that are normally and customarily associated with the Chief Executive Officer position, as well as other duties as the Board reasonably determines. From 2016 to June of 2021, Ms. Simmons served as the CEO and co-founder of LookyLoo, Inc. Ms. Simmons currently also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Servco Pacific Inc., and for New Energy Nexus.
LogicMark, Inc. provides personal emergency response systems (PERS), health communications devices, and Internet of Things (IoT) technology that creates a connected care platform. The Companyâs devices provide people with the ability to receive care at home and age independently. Its PERS devices incorporate two-way voice communication technology directly in the medical alert pendant. These PERS technologies are sold direct-to-consumer through the Companyâs e-commerce Website, through dealers and distributors, as well as through the United States Veterans Health Administration (VHA). Its no monthly fee products contact family, friends, or 911 directly, eliminating the recurring monthly fee from a monitoring center. The Companyâs PERS products include Guardian Alert 911 Plus, Freedom Alert Plus, Guardian Alert 911, and LifeSentry.
