Logwin announced the opening of a new country organization in Peru. The logistics service provider has been active for many years in Brazil, Chile and Mexico, most recently since last year also in Colombia. Peru's economy is stable and the country represents one of the consistently expanding markets in South America. The growth in infrastructure is leading to an increase in imports of capital goods in plant and mechanical engineering. At the same time, standards of living are improving in the Andean state, boosting the consumer goods industry. With its own office in Lima, Logwin can in future offer its global customers tailor-made, local solutions and services.

The company has been able to gain Mr. Fernando Huerta as its country manager. For many years he has been an operations manager for the company in Chile and is familiar with the region. Together with his team, he is available as a point of contact in Lima to support customers.
