Reckitt Benckiser Group has unveiled a number of executive committee changes. RB says that after 19 years Heather Allen, executive vice-president category development organisation, has decided to leave RB and will be relinquishing her role on the executive committee as of 1 January 2015. While fully supportive of the strategy and leadership of the business, after 19 years with the RB she feels that now is the right time to seek a new challenge. She will be staying on with the company until the summer to fully support the transition of role. The board thanked her for the many contributions she has made to RB's success during her career with the Company and wishes her well for the future. Roberto Funari, executive vice-president LAPAC (Latin America and Asia Pacific) and an existing member of the executive committee, will become executive vice-president category development organisation, effective 1 January 2015. Funari has significant experience of working in the category organisation in RB, as well as in the Area organisation. Frederic Larmuseau, executive vice-president for RUMEA (Russia, Middle East and Africa), will take on responsibility for the combined developing market Areas. Simon Nash, SVP HR, has decided to retire from the executive committee effective 1 December 2014 for health reasons. Nash has been a well-respected colleague during his career with the business and the Board thanked him and wishes him well in his retirement. He will be replaced by Deborah Yates, currently HR director for Europe & North America, effective 1 December 2014. At 2:36pm: (LON:RB.)
